Opening hours

There are five openable bridges in Fyrisån
between Lake Mälaren and the city of Uppsala.

Vertical clearance:

• Flottsundsbron 3.8 m
• Vindbron 2.1 m
• Kungsängsbron 4.8 m
• Tullgarnsbron 3.8 m
• Hamnspången 2.3 m

Horizontal clearance: 8 m

April 15 - October 15

Requests for bridge opening can be done between 0800 - 2300 LT.

Flottsundsbron: No bridge opening 16.00 - 17.00 LT on weekdays.
Tullgarnsbron and Kungsängsbron: No bridge opening 15.30 - 1800 LT on weekdays.

Call 1 hour before arrival to request bridge opening.

Call the numbers above first and then, in consultation with the bridge watch, switch to VHF Ch 15.
Always call the bridge watch when not in sight of the bridge.

The bridge Hamnspången is controlled remotely from the bridge Kungsängsbron.
