2025-01-13 Svenska Undervattensentreprenader AB carries out diving and construction work at Kvicksundsbron. The work is carried out from work pontoons and work boats located in and next to the fairway. When ships and larger vessels pass the Kvicksundsbron, the work will not be an obstacle to ship and boat traffic. Work boats and work pontoons will be highly visible to the public during the entire work period and will be illuminated during darkness and clearly visible in our work area. When diving occurs, a dive flag will be used. If there will be disruption to maritime traffic, this will be announced via VTS. Marine traffic is requested to pass the work area with caution so that surge waves do not occur. Contact with Work supervisor: VHF channel 68.	See NtM 19026(T)
2024-06-25 Obstruction under the surface at the south and east part of Kvicksundsbron. Reaches approximately 5 meters in towards the fairway. The area has been marked with two yellow light spar buoys. Remains of bridge foundation after work, remain under the surface.	See NtM 18544 (T)

Opening of the bridge is available at all times. Railway traffic may cause some delays.

Passage of the bridge on weekdays 06:00 - 20:00 Local time

Please note the special procedures that apply when crossing the bridge on weekdays between 06:00 and 20:00.

How to order bridge opening

When the bridge 'Kvicksundsbron' is to be passed on weekdays between 06:00 - 20:00, a pre-order of the bridge opening must be made at least 90 minutes before the planned passage.
This must be done by the master or the person with delegated responsibility.

Bridge passage any other time

First reporting point

Westbound vessels report to bridge master at reporting point 28, Torshälla
Eastbound vessels report to bridge master at Tallklubben (approx. 3,7 M) before the bridge.

Second reporting point

8 minutes before passage a second call should be made to receive information if opening of the bridge is available.
The bridge passage is planned in consultation between the master and the bridge master.
